The output resolution was 200m, deemed acceptable given the map's scale and the width of boundary features. 120 control points were selected throughout the image and along its borders. A fourth order polynomial transformation was applied to register the image to a variant of the Albers Equal Area projection. RMSE of the transformation was approximately 250m in the easting and northing, generally less than width of political and veg unit boundaries and roads. TNC digitized Baja, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Chihuahua. This effort was edgematched to Arizona (ALRIS), Sonora (IMADES), and New Mexico (NMFW). TNC work is deemed to be equal to or better than other inputs. Some effort was made to adjust the work of the other inputs.
