Abstract:
This data set consists of a one or three mile buffer around all the incorporated cities in Arizona. The size of the buffer is calculated according to the rules for the urban buffer. Cities of less than 250,000 people are buffered one mile, while the others are buffered three miles.
Purpose:
The data are created to serve as base information for use in GIS systems for a variety of planning and analysis purposes. Use of data for engineering work is prohibited. These data do not represent a legal record.
