The Arizona State Land Department has implemented a new Internet based mapping service called the "Arizona State Land Parcel Viewer". This service allows ASLD customers and the general public to utilize an interactive map via the Internet to display locations and selected status information about State Trust lands.
Here are some features of this new mapping service:
Locations of all State Trust surface parcels along with their official ASLD parcel identifier numbers. Future versions will include subsurface parcels.
Shows current surface leasing information of the primary surface lease on each parcel.
Locations of surface parcels by beneficiary, showing which beneficiary is benefiting from the parcel.
Locations of major public lands in Arizona, showing the locations of federal lands along with the State Trust in Arizona.
Locations of many other geographic data themes that help users understand the locations of State Trust and federal public lands. Includes themes such as township, range and section lines, city and county boundaries, street networks, stream networks and topographic hillshades.
Query parcels for parcel numbers and leasing information.
Quick snapshot maps of their displays for printing at their own printers.
Zoom to a variety of requested features such as lease number, lessee name, township and range or section location, city, town or county, grazing allotment and others.
This new service replaces the older map server operated by the Department. Look for more Internet based map services in the future to help us all understand more about Arizona’s valuable State Trust Lands!
