These are standard USGS quadrangle topographic maps at 1:24,000 scale. There are approximately 1900 maps that cover the state of Arizona.
How to View the Topographic Map Index
The Topographic Map Index allows you to zoom in to a more detailed view that displays the actual topographic map names for ordering. The topographic map index is a two-tiered index. When you click on the View the Topographic Map Index link a map image is displayed showing the half degree tile names for Arizona.
To view the actual topographic map names for ordering, use your browser scroll bars to scroll the image to your area of interest and click on a point at that area. The next image will present an index of the actual 1:24,000 scale topographic maps for the tile on which you clicked. These are the names of the topographic maps to place on the map order form. This process is illustrated visually below.
