Cadastral Unit Program

The Department’s Parcel and Land Mapping System (PALMS) State Land database is maintained by the Cadastral Unit, a fully computerized land mapping and survey unit. PALMS depicts the current status of State Trust lands. 

The Cadastral Unit (CAD) determines land legal descriptions for multiple land use contracts, sales, and title issues. CAD creates full color maps of Arizona Surface Management Responsibility for public sale. 

The maps may be obtained by visiting our Public Records Office. The individual map price is $5.00.
